Trailer and “First Look” for HSM3

Disney published a press release about the start of their promotional campaign with a “First Look” thingie on the Disney Channel hosted by Zac and Vanessa and the trailer as well as the launch of the online campaign on Disney.com.

Well get to see some footage as well as the opening song “Now or Never” during that 5 minute “First Look” as well as a trailer which will be show for the first time on 13 July on the DC. The song debuts even earlier (11 July) on Radio Disney. The online launch will kick off on Disney.com on 14 July at 12:01 a.m. ET.

BURBANK, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–As fans anxiously await the big screen premiere of “High School Musical 3: Senior Year,” Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures revealed plans today to launch the film’s global first look July 13, 2008, on Disney Channels Worldwide. The worldwide online launch kicks off on Disney.com July 14 at 12:01 a.m. ET.

“We’re paying homage to the fans by debuting our first look on the very network that launched the franchise,” said Mark Zoradi, president, Walt Disney Motion Pictures Group. “’High School Musical’ is a worldwide phenomenon and as such, it is important to pursue a nearly simultaneous launch of the first look to fans everywhere, employing our online venue, Disney.com, as well as our international Disney Channels and Jetix platforms.”

Beginning July 13 in select countries, the high-energy trailer will reach core fans in locales around the globe, including U.S., Canada, Japan, UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Australia, Southeast Asia, India, Taiwan, Brazil and Mexico, among others. Debuting in the U.S. on July 13 at 7:55 p.m. ET/PT on Disney Channel, the first look will precede an encore showing of the hit Disney Channel Original Movie “Camp Rock.”

Hosted by Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens, and including the song “Now or Never” from “High School Musical 3: Senior Year,” the trailer features all new footage from the highly anticipated movie, which is slated for release Oct. 24, 2008. Performed by the cast from the movie, “Now or Never” debuts Friday, July 11 at 7:15 p.m. ET on Radio Disney.
